Example: No meetings before 10:30.Protect deep work and decision windows.
Example: Slack responses at 12:00 and 17:00 unless urgent.You stop being a live help desk.
Example: I do not do other people’s job.You train competence instead of dependence.
Example: I can hold pressure without absorbing everyone’s anxiety.You lead without carrying.
Use this format:
This keeps authority and clarity.It is calm, non dramatic and non negotiable.
Pick one boundary that removes 20 percent of daily noise: a response window, a meeting rule or a handoff rule. Announce it once, then enforce it for 14 days.
If you keep re-explaining, it is not a boundary yet.It is a request.
